Asked for a slice of jalepeño, pep, and pineapple. They served a super old pep slice with jalepeño and pineapple sprinkled on top. Was gross. Super burnt with undercooked toppings on top. $7 for a slice of pizza take was really underrated. Do yourself a favor and head down to 16 and Valencia

This is an awesome pizza joint for a number of reasons. From the top... They make tasty pizza! An element crucial to any pizza place, it was not overlooked by the owners. Everyone knows - pizza is pizza. True, but some pizza is way more pleasurable to eat than others. Pizza Zone got that better kind! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕 The slices are good size. They aren't too greasy, you won't be fishing for toppings in a puddle of oil. Same goes for tomato (toh-muh-toe?) sauce - no overkill here. And the biggest challenge when it comes to pizza composition, in my opinion, the thing that is most often overlooked - the bread is delicious! Makes me wanna it the whole slice with the crust. The kitchen is open and right in front of you in plain sight. It's always nice to be able to see your food as it is prepared. And they also have an extensive menu filled with other tasty classics like burgers and fries 🍟🍔🌭🥓 as well as alternatives for the more selective feeders such as veggie burgers 🥦🍄 and deserts 🍰🍭 Overall, the prices are good and they got a great deal on sodas. Centrally located and here is another outstanding quality: OPEN 9o. It is unreasonably hard to get food in SF after 10 and Pizza Zone is there for us. Delivery and take out available. The place itself is HUGE, reminiscent of a whale... No, more of a hangar. They have a few old school arcades and a gumball 🤯 machine💥 Great for large groups and kids. Another thing I appreciate, which most probably don't care for, are the people that work here. Of course they're nice and polite - they're in the service industry - but also they're real people from the surrounding communities. Folks who may find it increasingly difficult to compete with the influx of everything in the city. To me that hiring policy speaks for the owners or the management. They're the kind of people who maintain humane business practices instead of treating employees like numbers. They help keep community alive. They widen the window of opportunities for those who otherwise find that window shrinking after being chewed up and spit out by the system. The numbers are already against them. I respect and appreciate that. There you have it. Some of the best pizza around, open late, up front and honest, and the whole nine yards. Good place! P S. I'll try and take some pics next time I'm over there...

Pizza was not very good. I'd say it's Domino's quality. If you love Domino's this may hit the spot, but there's much better pizza around (just maybe not open at 3am). The service was also pretty bad - I had to stand in front of the cashier for a minute before they acknowledge I existed. And they were having trouble keeping up with what looked like a not so busy night. Very disorganized, getting flustered when people are asking if their order is ready, etc.
